Cauliflower (gobi) – 2 cups (florets)
Maida – ½ cup
Cornflour – ¼ cup
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Water – as needed
Oil – for frying
For Sauce
Oil – 2 tbsp
Garlic – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 tsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 1 (slit)
Onion – 1 small (cubed)
Capsicum – ½ cup (cubed)
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Spring onion – for garnish
👩🍳 How to Make Gobi Manchurian
Mix maida, cornflour, chilli powder, salt, and water to form a thick batter.
Dip cauliflower florets in batter and deep fry until golden and crisp.
Heat oil in another pan. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilli; sauté briefly.
Add onion and capsicum; stir fry on high flame.
Add soy sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar, pepper, and a little water.
Add fried gobi and toss well until coated.
Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
