Bread Pudding is a soft, rich, and comforting dessert made with leftover bread, milk, sugar, and dry fruits. Perfect for family dinners or small celebrations.

📝 Ingredients

Bread slices – 6 (edges removed & chopped)

Milk – 2 cups

Sugar – ½ cup

Eggs – 2 (optional, for custard texture)

Vanilla essence – ½ tsp

Butter – 2 tbsp

Raisins – 2 tbsp

Cashews/Almonds – 2 tbsp (chopped)

Caramel syrup – 2 tbsp (optional)

👩‍🍳 How to Make Bread Pudding

Heat milk in a pan and add sugar. Stir until dissolved.

Add butter and mix well.

In a bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla essence (skip eggs for eggless version).

Add chopped bread into the milk mixture and mash lightly.

Mix in dry fruits.

Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.

Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes until set.

Drizzle caramel syrup on top and cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm or chilled with ice cream or whipped cream.

For eggless version, replace eggs with 2 tbsp custard powder mixed in milk.
