How to Make Motichoor Laddu (Simple Method)


Ingredients


1 cup besan (gram flour)


Water (to make thin batter)


Oil or ghee (for frying)


1 cup sugar


½ cup water


¼ tsp cardamom powder


1 tbsp milk


Few cashews & raisins (optional)


A pinch of food color (optional)


Method


1. Make batter


Take besan in a bowl.


Add water slowly and make a thin, smooth batter (no lumps).


Add food color if using.




2. Fry boondi


Heat oil or ghee on medium flame.


Use a small-hole ladle and pour batter over hot oil.


Fry lightly (do not make crispy).


Remove and keep aside.




3. Prepare sugar syrup


Heat sugar and water in a pan.


Boil till one-string consistency.


Add cardamom powder and milk. Mix well.




4. Mix boondi


Add fried boondi into hot sugar syrup.


Mix gently and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.




5. Add nuts


Add fried cashews and raisins (optional).


Mash lightly with a spoon for soft texture.




6. Make laddus


When mixture is warm, grease hands with ghee.


Shape into small round laddus.
