Carrot Halwa is a traditional Indian sweet made with grated carrots, milk, sugar, and ghee. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for festivals or special occasions.


📝 Ingredients


Carrots – 3 cups (grated)


Full-cream milk – 2 cups


Sugar – ¾ cup (adjust to taste)


Ghee – 3 tbsp


Cardamom powder – ½ tsp


Cashews – 10 (chopped)


Raisins – 1 tbsp



👩‍🍳 How to Make Carrot Halwa


1. Heat ghee in a heavy pan. Fry cashews and raisins until golden. Remove and keep aside.



2. In the same pan, add grated carrots and sauté for 5 minutes.



3. Add milk and cook on medium flame until the milk reduces and carrots soften.



4. Add sugar and mix well. Cook until the mixture thickens.



5. Add cardamom powder and fried nuts. Mix well.



6. Cook until ghee separates slightly from the sides. Turn off the heat.
