🍌 Banana Sheera Recipe (Quick & Traditional)

Banana Sheera is a soft, sweet South Indian dessert made with ripe bananas, semolina, and ghee. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for breakfast or prasad.


📝 Ingredients

Ripe bananas – 2 (mashed)

Rava / semolina – ½ cup

Sugar – ½ cup (adjust to taste)

Ghee – 3 tbsp

Milk – 1 cup

Water – ½ cup

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

Cashews – 10 (chopped)

Raisins – 1 tbsp

👩‍🍳 How to Make Banana Sheera

1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Fry cashews and raisins until golden. Remove and keep aside.

2. In the same pan, add remaining ghee and roast rava on low flame until aromatic.

3. Add milk and water slowly, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

4. Cook until the rava thickens.

5. Add mashed banana, sugar, and cardamom powder. Mix well.

6. Cook for 3–4 minutes until glossy and soft.

7. Garnish with fried nuts and serve hot.

Serve warm as breakfast, dessert, or temple prasad.
