How to Make Pasta (Very Simple & Detailed)


Ingredients


1 cup pasta (any type)


5 cups water


1 tsp salt


1 tsp oil


1 tbsp butter or oil


1 small onion (finely chopped)


1 small tomato (finely chopped)


1 tsp ginger-garlic paste


½ tsp red chilli powder or chilli flakes


1 tsp mixed herbs (oregano, chilli flakes)


Salt to taste


Cheese (optional)


Vegetables (optional: carrot, capsicum, corn)

Step-by-Step Method


1. Boil the pasta


Take a big pan and add water.


Add salt and oil.


When water boils, add pasta.


Cook for 8–10 minutes until soft.


Drain water and keep pasta aside.




2. Prepare the masala


Heat butter or oil in a pan.


Add chopped onion and fry till light golden.


Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 minute.




3. Add vegetables (optional)


Add carrot, capsicum, or corn.


Cook for 2–3 minutes till slightly soft.




4. Add tomato and spices


Add chopped tomato and cook till soft.


Add salt, chilli powder/flakes, and mixed herbs.


Mix well and cook for 1–2 minutes.




5. Mix pasta


Add boiled pasta to the pan.


Mix gently so pasta does not break.


Cook for 2 minutes on low flame.




6. Add cheese (optional)


Add grated cheese on top.


Switch off flame and mix lightly.
