🍗 How to Make Fried Chicken (Simple & Crispy)
Ingredients
500 g chicken (pieces)
1 cup buttermilk or curd
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic paste
1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
Oil for deep frying
Method
1. Marinate the chicken:
Mix chicken with buttermilk/curd, salt, pepper, chili powder, and garlic paste.
Rest for 30 minutes (or more for better taste).
2. Coat the chicken:
Take flour in a bowl. Add a little salt and pepper.
Coat each chicken piece well with flour.
3. Fry the chicken:
Heat oil on medium heat.
Fry chicken pieces slowly until golden brown and crispy.
4. Drain & serve:
Remove and place on tissue paper. Serve hot 🍗
Tips
Fry on medium heat for juicy inside.
Add cornflour to flour for extra crispiness.
Serve with ketchup or mayo.
