How to make noodles

 

Here’s a quick and tasty homemade noodles recipe — just like your favorite street-style or restaurant noodles ๐Ÿœ✨



๐Ÿงพ Ingredients


Main:


Noodles – 2 cups (any type: Hakka, egg, or instant)


Water – enough to boil


Salt – 1 tsp


Oil – 1 tsp



For Stir-Frying:


Oil – 2 tbsp


Garlic – 4 cloves, finely chopped


Onion – 1 small, sliced


Capsicum – ½ cup, thinly sliced


Carrot – ½ cup, thinly sliced


Cabbage – ½ cup, shredded


Spring onions – for garnish



For Sauce Mix:


Soy sauce – 1 tbsp


Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp


Chilli sauce – 1 tsp (optional for spice)


Vinegar – ½ tsp


Salt – to taste


Pepper – ½ tsp



๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ How to Make Noodles


Step 1: Boil the Noodles


1. Boil water in a large pan with salt and 1 tsp oil.



2. Add noodles and cook until just soft (don’t overcook).



3. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.



4. Toss with a few drops of oil to prevent sticking.



Step 2: Prepare the Stir-Fry


1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok on high flame.



2. Add chopped garlic and stir for a few seconds.



3. Add onion, capsicum, carrot, and cabbage.



4. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes (keep veggies crisp).



Step 3: Add Sauces


1. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, and vinegar.



2. Mix well.



3. Add salt and pepper to taste.



Step 4: Add Noodles


1. Add the boiled noodles to the pan.



2. Toss everything on high flame until noodles are well coated with sauce and veggies.



3. Garnish with spring onions.
