Here’s a simple Lemon Pepper Chicken recipe you can try at home

Ingredients:

Chicken (boneless or with bone) – 500 g

Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

Lemon zest – 1 tsp (optional, for extra flavor)

Black pepper (freshly crushed) – 1 to 1 ½ tsp

Garlic – 5 to 6 cloves (finely chopped or minced)

Green chilies – 2 (optional, for spice)

Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)

Oil or butter – 2 tbsp

Salt – to taste

Coriander leaves – for garnish

Preparation:

1. Marinate the chicken

Wash and clean chicken pieces.

Marinate with lemon juice, salt, and half of the black pepper.

Rest for at least 30 minutes.

2. Cook the chicken

Heat oil or butter in a pan.

Add garlic, onions, and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn golden.

Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium flame.

Stir occasionally until chicken is cooked through.

3. Seasoning

Add the remaining black pepper and lemon zest.

Mix well and let it cook for 2–3 minutes.

Adjust salt and lemon juice as per taste.

4. Garnish & Serve

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice, roti, or salad.

✨ Tip: For a restaurant-style version, you can coat the chicken lightly with cornflour and shallow fry before tossing it in lemon-pepper sauce.
