How to make raspberry cake
Here’s a simple and delicious Raspberry Cake Recipe 🍰🍓
📝 Ingredients:
For the cake:
All-purpose flour – 1 ½ cups
Baking powder – 1 ½ tsp
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Salt – ¼ tsp
Unsalted butter – ½ cup (softened)
Sugar – 1 cup
Eggs – 2 (room temperature)
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Milk (or buttermilk) – ½ cup
Fresh or frozen raspberries – 1 cup (tossed lightly in 1 tbsp flour so they don’t sink)
For topping (optional):
Powdered sugar – for dusting

Whipped cream/cream cheese frosting – as desired
🔪 Preparation Steps:
Step 1: Prep
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Grease and flour a round/square baking tin.
Step 2: Make the Batter
1. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
4. Slowly add the dry ingredients alternating with milk (start and end with flour mixture).
5. Gently fold in raspberries coated with flour.
Step 3: Bake
1. Pour the batter into the prepared tin.
2. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
3. Let it cool before removing from the tin.
