**Ingredients:**

- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

#### **Instructions:**

1. **Cook the pasta:** Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water before draining.

2. **Make the sauce:** In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. **Add cream and cheese:** Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth.
