Ingredients:


For the Pulled Pork:  

- 3-4 lbs pork shoulder (Boston butt)  

- 1 tablespoon salt  

- 1 teaspoon black pepper  

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika  

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder  

- 1 teaspoon onion powder  

- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)  

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar  

- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)  

- ½ cup apple cider vinegar  

- ½ cup chicken broth  

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce  


 For the Sandwiches:  

- 6 brioche or hamburger buns  

- 1 cup coleslaw (optional, for topping)  

- Extra BBQ sauce for serving  


Instructions:  


1. Prepare the Pork

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.  


2. Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork in a **slow cooker**. Add BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook on **low for 8 hours** (or high for 6 hours) until the meat is tender and easily shredded with a fork.  


3. Shred the Pork

Once cooked, transfer the pork to a cutting board and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded meat to the slow cooker and mix with the juices for extra flavor.  


4. Assemble the Sandwiches

Toast the buns lightly for extra texture. Pile the pulled pork onto each bun, drizzle with extra BBQ sauce, and top with coleslaw if desired.  


Serving Suggestions:

Serve with **potato chips, baked beans, or corn on the cob** for a classic BBQ meal.
