#### **Ingredients:**
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- ¾ cup sugar (brown or white)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
#### **Instructions:**
1. **Preheat the Oven:** Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. **Mix Wet Ingredients:** In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. **Mix Dry Ingredients:** In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
4. **Combine & Add Chocolate Chips:** Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
5. **Bake:** Pour the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. **Cool & Serve:** Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
