Easy Crispy Potato Cheese Balls Recipe for Evening Snacks

Potato Cheese Balls are one of the tastiest homemade snacks that can be prepared quickly with simple kitchen ingredients. These crunchy snacks have a crispy outer layer with soft melted cheese inside, making them perfect for evening tea time or weekend treats.

Ingredients Required

4 boiled potatoes

1 cup grated cheese

2 tablespoons corn flour

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1 teaspoon oregano seasoning

2 finely chopped green chilies

Salt according to taste

Black pepper powder

Bread crumbs for coating

Oil for frying

How to Prepare

Begin by mashing the boiled potatoes smoothly in a large mixing bowl. Add salt, chili flakes, oregano, black pepper powder, green chilies, and corn flour. Mix all the ingredients properly until a soft mixture is formed.

Take a small portion of the potato mixture and flatten it gently in your hand. Place a little grated cheese in the center and carefully roll it into a round ball shape.

Once all the balls are prepared, coat them evenly with bread crumbs to create a crispy texture after frying.

Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame. Carefully drop the prepared potato balls into the hot oil and fry them until they become golden brown and crunchy from all sides.

After frying, remove them and place them on tissue paper to remove excess oil.

Best Way to Serve

Serve these hot crispy potato cheese balls with tomato ketchup, spicy mayonnaise, or mint chutney. They make an excellent snack for parties, family gatherings, and rainy evenings.
