Ingredients
½ cup dark chocolate
¼ cup butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons maida
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
½ teaspoon vanilla essence
Butter for greasing
Instructions
Step 1: Melt Chocolate
Add dark chocolate and butter to a bowl. Melt using a microwave or double boiler method.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter
Add powdered sugar and mix well. Add egg and vanilla essence. Mix until smooth. Add maida and cocoa powder and gently fold the batter.
Step 3: Prepare the Moulds
Grease small cake moulds or cups with butter. Pour the batter into the moulds.
Step 4: Bake the Cake
Preheat oven to 180°C and bake for 12–15 minutes until the outer layer is cooked but the center remains soft.
Step 5: Serve Hot
Carefully remove the cake from the mould and serve immediately with ice cream or chocolate syrup.
