Tacos


 Here’s a simple taco recipe you can try at home 🌮:


Ingredients:


8 small taco shells (hard or soft tortillas)


250 g (½ lb) chicken, beef, or paneer (your choice)


1 medium onion, finely chopped


1 medium tomato, finely chopped


1 small capsicum/bell pepper, chopped


1 tsp ginger-garlic paste


1 tsp chili powder


½ tsp cumin powder


½ tsp turmeric


½ tsp garam masala or taco seasoning


2 tbsp oil or butter


Salt to taste


Lettuce, shredded


Cheese, grated


Sour cream or curd (optional)


Salsa or chutney for topping



Method:


1. Prepare the filling


Heat oil in a pan.


Add onions and sauté until golden.


Add ginger-garlic paste and fry briefly.


Add chicken/beef/paneer with all spices (chili, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, salt).


Cook until the meat/paneer is fully done and flavorful.


Toss in chopped tomato and capsicum. Cook for 2–3 minutes.




2. Warm the taco shells


Heat the taco shells in a dry pan or oven for 1–2 minutes until slightly crispy.




3. Assemble tacos


Place some lettuce inside the shell.


Add 2–3 spoonfuls of the prepared filling.


Sprinkle cheese on top.


Add sour cream, salsa, or chutney if you like.


4. Serve immediately 🌮


Tacos taste best when served hot and crisp
