Salad

 

Here’s a simple way to make a fresh vegetable salad at home:


Ingredients


1 cucumber (sliced)


1 tomato (chopped)


1 onion (sliced, optional)


1 carrot (grated or chopped)


1 capsicum (chopped, optional)


Lettuce leaves or spinach (few leaves, optional)


1 green chili (finely chopped, optional)


Fresh coriander or mint leaves (a handful, chopped)



For Dressing


2 tsp lemon juice OR 1 tbsp olive oil


Salt to taste


Black pepper powder (a pinch)


Chat masala (optional, for Indian taste)



Method


1. Wash all the vegetables well and cut them into bite-sized pieces.



2. Place them in a mixing bowl.



3. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice (or olive oil), and mix well.



4. Sprinkle some chat masala if you like a tangy flavor.



5. Garnish with fresh coriander or mint leaves.


Your healthy salad is ready to serve! 🥗
