Aaloo kabab

 

Here's a simple and tasty Aloo Kabab (Potato Kabab) recipe you can easily make at home:


🥔 Aloo Kabab Recipe (Serves 2–3)


📝 Ingredients:


3 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)


1 small onion (finely chopped)


2 green chilies (finely chopped)


1 tsp ginger-garlic paste


2 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)


½ tsp red chili powder


½ tsp garam masala


¼ tsp turmeric powder


½ tsp chaat masala or amchur (dry mango powder)


Salt to taste


2 tbsp corn flour or bread crumbs (for binding)


Oil for shallow frying


👩‍🍳 Instructions:


1. Prepare the Mixture:


In a mixing bowl, add boiled and mashed potatoes.


Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander.


Add spices: red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, chaat masala, and salt.


Add corn flour or bread crumbs to bind the mixture well.


Mix everything into a smooth dough.



2. Shape the Kababs:


Take small portions of the mixture and shape into flat round or oval patties.



3. Shallow Fry:


Heat 2–3 tbsp oil on a non-stick pan or tawa.


Place the kababs and fry on medium flame until golden brown and crispy on both sides.


Flip carefully to avoid breaking.



4. Serve Hot:


Serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, or as a side with roti or rice.


💡 Tips:


You can add grated paneer or cheese for extra richness.


To make them crispier, coat the kababs lightly with bread crumbs before frying.


You can also bake or air-fr

y for a healthier version.
