Here’s a delicious and easy recipe for **Creamy Mushroom Chicken**—perfect for a comforting meal.  


Creamy Mushroom Chicken

**Servings:** 4

#### **Ingredients:**  

- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise)  

- 2 tbsp olive oil  

- 2 tbsp butter  

- 3 cloves garlic, minced  

- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced  

- ½ cup chicken broth  

- 1 cup heavy cream  

- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese  

- 1 tsp Italian seasoning  

- ½ tsp salt  

- ½ tsp black pepper  

- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)  

- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)  


#### **Instructions:**  

1. **Prepare the chicken:** Season both sides of the chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.  

2. **Sear the chicken:** Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.  

3. **Sauté the mushrooms:** In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes.  

4. **Make the sauce:** Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any bits from the pan. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.  

5. **Combine & serve:** Return the chicken to the pan, spoon the sauce over it, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
