Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe

This quick and easy garlic butter shrimp recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a fancy appetizer. It’s packed with flavor and ready in just 15 minutes!  


## **Ingredients:**  

- 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined  

- 3 tbsp unsalted butter  

- 4 cloves garlic, minced  

- 1 tsp paprika  

- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)  

- Salt and pepper, to taste  

- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice  

- 1 tbsp chopped parsley  


## **Instructions:**  


1. **Prepare the shrimp:** Pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.  

2. **Cook the garlic:** In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.  

3. **Sauté the shrimp:** Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.  

4. **Add flavor:** Stir in the red pepper flakes (if using) and lemon juice. Toss well to coat the shrimp.  

5. **Garnish and serve:** Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.  


## **Tips:**  

- Use fresh or frozen shrimp (thawed) for the best taste.  

- Adjust spice levels by adding more or less red pepper flakes.  

- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
