Crispy Bread Pakora (Easy Evening Snack)

Bread Pakora is a crispy and tasty Indian snack, perfect for evening tea time. It is crunchy outside and soft inside.

🕒 Time Required

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 10–15 minutes

🛒 Ingredients

4 bread slices

2 boiled potatoes

1 green chili (chopped)

1 tsp red chili powder

½ tsp turmeric powder

½ tsp garam masala

Salt to taste

1 cup besan (gram flour)

Water (to make batter)

Oil for deep frying

👩‍🍳 Method

1️⃣ In a bowl, mash boiled potatoes. Add green chili, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, and garam masala. Mix well.

2️⃣ Prepare batter: In another bowl, mix besan, salt, and water to make smooth thick batter.

3️⃣ Spread potato mixture on one bread slice and cover with another slice. Cut into triangles.

4️⃣ Dip stuffed bread into besan batter.

5️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

6️⃣ Remove and drain on tissue paper.

🍽️ Serving Tip

Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
